Transformative acceleration of drug discovery can be achieved through digital disruption defined by Peter Diamantis as “Six D-s of Exponentials” (6 D-s).
All components of 6 D-s (digitization, deception, disruption, demonetization, dematerialization, and democratization) have emerged in drug discovery.
Implementation of the 6 D-s in drug discovery requires mature AI, automation of experiments, public-private partnerships, and open science.
