NVFG Annual Congress – Nuclear medicines and ATMPs

The NVFG cordially invites you to the NVFG Annual Conference on Thursday, October 9, 2025, which this year will focus on two rapidly developing areas within drug development: Nuclear Medicines and Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs).

During this afternoon symposium, leading experts will take you into the world of radionuclides. We start with a look at nuclear drug development - from manufacturing to clinical application - and the logistical, regulatory and safety challenges involved. We then focus on the latest applications within nuclear medicine and their impact on patient care.

After the break, the focus shifts to ATMPs. What exactly are these advanced therapies, how do they relate to existing drugs, and what specific regulations apply? We also consider current practice examples, such as the implementation of CAR-T cell therapy and the role of national expert panels in assessing and funding these innovative treatments.

Two interactive proposition sessions will provide in-depth discussion and reflection with the audience in between and at the end of the program.
