Speaker(s): Paul Simms

The most important access decisions probably weren’t considered access decisions at all.

A clinical team chooses an endpoint because it answers the scientific question. Years later, that endpoint becomes part of the proof a payer uses to judge value. Or a portfolio team sequences indications for sound development reasons; later, that sequence shapes the reimbursement story. By launch, these choices are part of the structure. Some can be helpful, whereas others need a costly rebuild.

And the environment is becoming less forgiving. In the US, Medicare negotiation now extends to Part B medicines. In Europe, Joint Clinical Assessment is pulling comparative evidence questions earlier in development.

But building access in early is only half the job. Coverage still has to become use. Providers need confidence, affordability has to work in practice, and patient starts need to become continued treatment.

In this webinar, we’ll explore how to:

  • Shape evidence with future access in mind
  • Spot access problems while the design can still move
  • Turn coverage into adoption, not just a favourable decision
